We have a very odd situation:
One person has gifted his flat to his married daughter ( he has one son and another daughter who is married in Delhi).
Now the Nomination done by the Daughter is surprisingly her father !
Is this allowed in the Income tax law (index 2) etc...
The issue has come up as the Daughter has applied for a NOC for taking a loan from a Finance Company !
One member insists that since the flat was inherited by the father ( who had 2 brothers and 2 sisters) the gift can be contested by not only her fathers family but her own too !
So, how does this effect the society.
