Gift deed

Roads, parks, and access roads were gifted to the Local PANCHAYAT for public purposes in an approved layout in 1989. The gift deed also was registered at that time. In 2004 Sipcot wanted to acquire the  approved land in one survey no including the gifted portion . Is govt.  correct in the acquisition process as the access to the other nearby lands ( That were not acquired ) is through these gifted roads. It is not out of place to mention the property owners in this particular survey have not received any compensation and the govt has not paid any amount so far. In view of the new land acquisition bill passed in the Parliament is the action taken by the govt is tenable.

What is the recourse available to the nearby landowners  as the access to their lands is affected and there is no other alternative access.. Please advise

you can contest the eviction orders issued by the collector in this regard.
