Going to trial in a 498a case

Hello All,

We are about six people accused in a 498A case . Two of us have a stay through a quash petition. Can we go to trial without the main person (i.e. accused number 1), as he is not conveniently located. Its funny how they address us in courts, like we dont have names.

yes you can go for trial.

The remedy lies in other people getting on trial by bi-furcating the case.
