Dear Sir,
How many days or months will take to claim the graduity money after resignation. My company is negotiated by another company and now they are telling the employees to resign and settling their graduity money. I am already resigned on february 24, 2011. If the company did not pay the money what are all the measures I supposed to take because another three days left to complete 30 days. please let me know how many days will take to claim the amount.

To claim gratuity one has to complete five years of service with that company if not to be entitled for gratuity one has to atleast complete four years + 240 days of fith year if this condition is fullfilled u can claim gratuity by filing complaint to the labour officer of ur state.
