Flat owners are going to get possession of flat in near future. Flat (property) is not located in within PMC (Pune Municipal Corporation). Now builder is asking to pay Gram Panchayat Property Tax at the time of taking possession. The demand looks Irrelevant / illegal because he is asking us write the cheque in his favor.
1) Why builder is asking us to write cheque in his favor for Gram Panchayat tax ?
2) I guess Gram Panchayat should send us property tax bill and we can directly pay to Gram Panchayat.
3) Does builder has its own due with Gram Pancyahat and tying to bill us illegally?
Please suggest/advice what is wrong here.
