Gratuity

Sir,

Four of my staff recently quit their jobs at regular intervals in a planned manner with vested interest of floating a new company/companies. All of them had submitted their resignation letters (at different dates) but wanted to be relieved the next day. All of them had worked 6 + years in my company.

My question is whether they are eligible for any gratuity or do I have the rights to refuse them since they had not given me a minimum notice period. (however I don't remember mentioning any such period in their appointment letters)

Can I get an advice in this regard?

regards

PRADEEP.

yes, you must give all the labour gratuity its compulsory, if they are not give properly resignation you can intimate them for lose of payment as per your terms and condition of the appointment letter.

They are eligible for gratuity.

You can adjust notice pay if applicable as per appointment letter issued by you and accepted by them in the FNF statement and settlement.
