Guidance on court procedure

Hello All,

This about a friend of mine who and her husband both have filed for a divorce. Actually they both are very sure that they dont want to stay together. Now, there are some settlement issues whcih have not allowed them to go through the mutual consent divorce. It is getting unnecesarily sour and difficult for both of them.

Now, the question is, can the court grant them divorce directly and then settle out the remaining issues like who harrassed  whom etc. later, as in after the divorce decree is finalised. Since, divorce can only bring peace to both of them, that is the most important thing that court can give them apart from maintenence and other petty issues. How can this happen ASAP?

Please guide.

court will analyze the matter and then will pass the decree. there is no short cut

No, when both are asking divorce court has to pass decree in favor of one and against the other,m which can be decided after a full blown trial.
