My account of PNB was hacked one year back. The complaint was lodged to the Police. The culprit is traced. The details of his bank account, his address (in India) is known. So far police has not registered FIR. What action can be taken by the police ? If FIR is lodged by the police what will be the next step ? Please guied me.

If FIR is not registered you can file private complaint or file direction petition before High Court.. After FIR Police Officers shall take statements and after that Charge sheet will file.
