The committee members in our society have taken a decision to ban the residents to dry clothes outside. This is so when the dry area provided by the builder in not sufficient to dry clothes for even a nuclear family of 3. The committee has decided to levy a fine of Rs. 1000/- per day. The decision to ban the clothes line has been taken by the managing committee and not in the AGM. Does the bye laws of Maharahstra Co-operative Society Act give them the rights to take this decision.
