Help needed.. can a gift deed invalidated?

Dear All,

My father has sold his ancestral property in March, 1968 due to illness of my mother. Then he got some loan from a finance and bought a new property on his own in July, 1968. Now he made a gift deed of his self owned property on my name since i am taking care of him and his medical expenses. Did my sisters have any right in the property? can this gift deed can be invalidated under any circumstances?

It will be more helpful if you provide your valuable suggestion on this. Thanks in advance.

Your father has absolute right to gift ,sale or trnsfer his self acquired property to anyone as per his wish and no one can legally challenge the giftdeed executed by your father.

My sisters have filed a case saying that my father has bought this new property with the money obtained by selling the ancestral property, since the new property is also bought on the same year. They dont have any evidence for this. Will my sisters have any chance? Your comments on this is welcome.
