wait for another 2 months and file divorce on the basis of desertion. if ur inlaws threaten record them and keep it safe. did ur try getting her back through some means i.e., through elders, letters, email, sms? if u have them, keep them safely. divorce would be easy for you. but, if u hv to face 498a, if she wants to show the society that she is innocent.

yes she can file cases.

you should file NCR stating that your wife is not living with you.

if cases will be filed you jst need to fight back on merits.

Thank you. I did called in between asking her to come back else i will give divorce But this went against me and when i went to bring her at her place, she showed me my recording saying that she will not come bcoz of this and will take me to court. this was alomst 6months back. She wants me accept her demands and apologise infront of everyone 4 no fault of mine.

She is unlikely to be able to put you or your parents behind bars unless you become very careless and do not engage a lawyer. the NCR will be a proof that you complained before she complained.
