Hindu marriage divorce/annulment from foreign court

Evey Indian lawyer whom i ask says that for a Hindu Marriage decree of divorce or annulment can only be obtained by Indian courts and any  decree of divorce or annulment issued by any foreign court against the Indian marriage solemnized in India is null & void for whatever reasons it would have been obtained by the foreigner/NRI spouse against the Indian spouse.

My queston is, is there any such existing law written somewhere or still the amendment is only on its way and the lawyers and judges talk about things before even law is ammended.

its why because if you marry again in india then other party should be aware of that and your ex does not contest in future to safeguard your interest as if you get a divorce decree in foreign country then you have to take validated in india were you got married and if other party does not object to it then you will be getting acceptance in india as well
