House owner gave wrong promises and neglecting the problems

Hi ,

I came into a new house recently.while we are paying the advance house owner inspired us by putting good furniture and before we are entering the house he removed it saying it is previous tennants TV table and they took it.we came firstly by seeing that one as we eill be having comfort with it.

He promised of mesh for windows as mosquitos are more and he promised to do it before we take charge.he is getting vexed now and blcak mailing us to leave the premises if not interested.Does he have right to ask us leave with agreement done and advance also paid.

He is not taking care of switches which are flucautating even

Can anyone suggest what to do with him.He is continously saying we are not getting workers to do this things.

Firstly check if the rental agreement has all the details covered regarding the furnitures in the house. Also check to see if in the agreement the part of the mosquito mesh's are covered.

If the landlord has turned down all his commitments and it is uncomfortable for you continue to live in the location, then without any delay send him a letter through registered post explaining his lack of commitment and your situation. Request him to fix the issues. If he cannot then seek reasonable time and vacate the location once you find a suitable house.

At the time of vacating the house ensure to collect the advance paid by you.

Regarding your question, both of you parties should not violate the terms of the agreement when it is in force as it will have legal consequences, should one of you choose to set law into motion.
