I am currently staying in a house as a tenant for the past year. I had paid my advance, but neglected to ask the owner to prepare an agreement. I'm going to vacate the house in a month. Now, the house owner is saying that he will give only 60% of the advance back to me. The owner does not listen to me and is daily making my life miserable by trying to cut more and more money from the advance for absolutely frivolous reasons.
Is it possible for me to get justice without a rent agreement? I had paid the advance in cash, so there is no proof me paying the advance to him.
