How cases are distributed among judges for hearing

Hello All,

Could someone please explain , "how a new case is assigned to a particular judge or a bench of judges ?"

Is it true that each judge has expertise in a specific area, and hence assignment depends upon their expertise and nature of case ?

In this case, is there any website from where I might know the expertise of a particular judge ?

Thanks in advance.

Warm regards,

Sushanta

sorry to say bt u r mistaken.

chief justice of a high court, or CJI as the case may be, has power to distribute the work, and there is no such prior expertise is nessessory to hold a specific bench. normally the writ bench of a high court is considered as the best roster and hearing old matter, and criminal duble bench is considerd as ice. no body want to go for hearing old roster.

QUESTION OF EXPERTISE DOES NOT COME OR REFLECT WHILE THEY SIT ON THEIR CHAIRS

IT IS A VERY ROUTINE WORK TO SEND A CASE TO A JUDGE - BY THE OFFICE OF THE COURTS.

MR AMIT PERFECT.

IN THIS REGARD A FEW ADVOCATES GIVE FALSE / WRONG INFORMATION AND TRY TO SHOW THAT HE IS THE BEST PLEADER IN THAT AREA TO IMPRESS THE CLIENTS , HE HAS CONTROL OVER THE JUDGES. IT IS WRONG.

YES A LITTLE BIT CORRUPTION IS THERE AMONG THE JUDGES.
