Hi, I am planning to buy an agricultural land. I would like to know how to verify if the land is an inam land. This is in Karnataka.
- Please suggest the process to verify if the land is inam land. Should I approach Taluk office - any form, document?
- Is it mentioned in RTC document ? If it is not mentioned then can I be sure its not an inam land?
- If the inam tenant had obtained the occupancy certificate/rights then can the land be converted for uses other than agriculture? for ex. building house or a shop?
