How many days it takes for a 156(3) to be heard

Respected learned members,

The 156(3)complaint petition had been filed in magistrate court in the month of September through the mode of E-Filing. And hard copy of the same also been filed (dropped in the box provided for that because of corona guidelines).

Its been more than 45 days now but still the case had not numbered and called for a hearing. Please let me know how many days it takes for a 156(3)complaint to be heard in court for first adjournment. What is the procedure to get listed for hearing?

As the court clerical staff is highly corrupt , can they be having any hand in the delay (may be not forwarding it to the magistrate for perusal). How to tackle this situation and to get it numbered. Please advise

Why don't you install the ecourt service app? You can have every information.

Thanks for the reply sir.

The Case i mentioned is a CC (criminal complaint u/sec 156(3) CrPC), which has been filed through the mode of E-Filing and the E-Filing number have been generated. And in the Ecourts App , while checking its status its showing no case with that number. May be case status will be updated after the court taken the complaint on file and provides other number OR if the court schedules it for a hearing date.  without adjournment/hearing date get allotted, how can one check the info on Ecourts app, please inform sir

If the matter is not taken up, you can file advance petition.

You please check the acknowledgement receipt with the peshkaar officer physically over there. Until you can't have any concrete answer as why your matter has not been taken up or what is the current status or any dates etc.
