How share calculated in ancestral land with a building?

Land is ancestral for "GG (great grandfather)". GG built a building on this land with 12 flats out of which 3 were sold to strangers. 6 flats came to share of 6 sons of GG(1 flat to each son). In rest of the 3 flats each son has 1/6th. Now my questions are as follows:

1) The 3 flats which were sold to strangers by GG were sold to new strangers between 2004-2009. Can the sons reclaim share in any of these 3 flats which are now owned by strangers?

2) How is the share in the land only (not building) calculated for the 6 sons of GG?

3)Do the strangers own share in the land as well?
