Hi, we have an old temple which having some shops also. the temple is around 250 years old and we don’t have any document of the temple or we lost it in a fire long back. The temple is in old area and at ground floor it having shops. Some tenants are new and some are old. Some tenants we are giving the rent receipt on the name of temple but some tenants are very old and they are not giving any rent and the shops are closed from the long time.
I want to create a trust on temple name and want to make everything legal. i want tenant to vacant the temple property legally (the tenants who are not paying any rent) and some tenants are paying rent but this is very less around 10rs per month for them i want to increase the rent. But the main problem is we don’t have any document which says the temple belongs to us. First i want to register the temple on our name. Then i want to make a trust and then i want the tenants who are not paying rent to vacate the temple. Does all the things possible legally. If all this possible how can i proceed?
