Please advise on the following issue. An extent of 3 acres of land was sold in the year 1978 under registered document. The buyer and the seller were expired subsequently. Now the legal heirs of the buyer are trying to sell the said property to others. But it is observed that the survey numbers and extent of the land are wrongly recorded in the documents. On physical verification it is found that the survey number and the extent of land mentioned against survey numbers are varied. Now the property is in the possession of the legal heirs of the buyers. What is the procedure to be followed for regularizing of the property.
