I am a law graduate from North Eastern States of India & applied for Assam State Bar council for enrolment, I am interested to make LAW FIRM in our place , I need suggestion & guidance in the following matters :-
1. Is it necessary to involve any other partner?
2. Can Law firm be sole proprietorship firm?
3. Is it mandatory the other partner should be an advocate?
4. Is registration of Law firm is compulsory if so where & what are the procedure to be followed to get the registration of Law Firm.
5. Can a law firm run & publish own website?
6. Suppose the name of my law firm is like that “ DELHI ADVOCATES” or any other State or place names I put in the place of DELHI, then is it illegal ?
7. If I involved other senior advocates in my law firm then in what status they will work, as partner or any other ways?
