How to deal with false istridhan list in a dowryless marriag

Dear Experts,

Dowryless marriage done 10 years back in a very simple traditional manner with no articles given by parents of wife. Only few jewellary items were given to wife and that too are in custody of wife.

Marriage did not work and husband tolerated cruelty of wife for 10 years and finally filed for Divorce. In her police complaint she did not mention any Istridhan list, but in her written statement to court( given as reply to Divorce) she is claiming huge Istridhan list mentioning almost all items available at residence of her inlaws and a huge list of expensive jewellary and now threatening husband and inlaws to implicate them in false criminal cases .

How to deal with such situation ? Does police believe her list without any investigation and register case against husband. Do they pick items mentioned in list without any investigation in the name of recovery.

Is there any difficulty in getting bail in such situation, since husband cannot return anything, since all her list is false.

Regards

protest her ws and ask evidences of her claims for stridhan , you have wedding photograph, video graph and your relatives from both side as a witnesses to support your statements , if they are threatening you to falsy implication into criminal cases then make a written complaint to the office of ssp/dcp police and narrate whole story in it and ask relief from him, also meet the ssp/dcp along with your parents and inform him about the threat , if they again threats you over the phone then record all the conversation in your phone , similarly record emails and sms, it will used as an evidence in the court as well as in the police investigation .

Such lists are a norm in matrimonial cases and the court decides on the same based on the bills/ testimony and admissions etc.

Most of the times parties come to an agreement w.r.t. same
