We are trying to determine who is the successor/legal heir of the lessor of our property. We have had no lessor for the past 22 years. We need to determine who the lessor is for lease renewal and land redevelopment. How can this be done ? The lessor was a Roman Catholic located in Mumbai . How long will it take to get heirship or successor certificate ? If there is no legal heir or successor identified how can we proceed ? Can we publish a public notice ?
