Every notary's seal contains his name, area and registration number. In terms of Notaries Act, 1952 and Notaries Rules, 1956 a notary is required to maintain a notarial register making entry of every notarial act and taking of signature of the person concerned in the register. The Court may call upon the notary to produce that. But if you have not signed in presence of the notary then, in any event, any entry in the register, be it of whatever date, shall not bear your [original] signature, so how do you propose to use it anyways !!!
