Hi experts,
I wish to obtain my fathers property(delhi) in my name after his death. all my siblings have no objection in providing me relinquishment deed. but the problem is that non of them lives in delhi, and one of them is in USA. so plz suggest me the legal steps which i must follow to obtain their relinquishment deeds, and after that for the transfer of that property.

Go for a "Will Deed" in this regard, since your other brothers, have no objection.

You have to obtain Release deed from all the legal heirs of your father relinquishing their rights and interests in the property in your favor. About the release deed from one of the heirs residing in US, he need to make a Release deed on a plain paper, get it attested/stamped by the US consulate/embassy send it to the concerned Registrar directly with a copy to you, along with others' Release deed and with others presence, get the property transferred to your name which includes the release deed of your US heir. This will be safest way.
