How to investigate a prospective groom during 2nd marriage

i am from from delhi.

my divorced sister is 29 yrs. we are again looking for a groom.

she has few proposals.

because this is 2nd marriage,we want to be careful in bridegroom selection.so i come her for guidance.

she has the proposal of a wdowed businessman.he claims to be earning very high salary.

if he was service man,we wud have found out from his company where he works how much he earns.

but how do we find out the correct,authetic salary of a businessman?what are the right ways to investigate?

please advise,based on your personal experiences,if you got your sister or daughter married to a businessman..

Do you want your sister get married to a rich man only..there is no good character needed ?

Make your sister engaged in somework so that she become self dependent.

ranee jee,with due respect to your words,her last husband was service class middle income group man.entire family was "religious" minded.yet they all torture her enlessly.they start their day with pujas.

there is no guarante that a middle class man will always have high character.by the way my sister is already working.

here i am just looking for guidance on how to investigate how much he really earns.everyone wants a good earning man for his sister.plz guide me only if u can.dont discuss pholosophy.

Its a classic case of once bitten twice shy.

Getting background check of a divorcee or widower is easy, ask for case number in case of a divorcee. Widower, go meet the parents/relatives of the woman who died.

But most importantly, go ahead with a broad accepting mind.

Try not to commit the same mistakes which were done in first marriage. Marriage runs on one word which is ADJUSTMENT and more importantly there should be a need to lead a married life, that should be the only motive to lead a happy married life.

@ the author.........and by the way. i think 'puja' was not the only way divorce happened, why dont you give the full story in brief from your side, the number of cases your filed on the boy, DV 125 hma24, 498 etc....is the previous boy still left licking his wounds while you are out to search a new prey.....please dont mind my writing. but you are not presenting the clear story to the readers here.......
