Huf member/coparcener

Is it merely discretion of the Karta of HUF to declare a daughter, married prior to 9-9-2005, as a member/coparcener, or is it a legal right of the married daughter under the Hindu Succession Act, after the 9-9-2005 amendment?

If I have understood you correctly, the legal position is:

1.If both married daughter and father, who is Karta of HUF, are alive as on 9-9-2005, married daughter is coparcener in father's HUF;

2.Married daughter is an member, and not a coparcener, of her husband's HUF.
