Human rights

My opponent party filed a false petition in police with his head constable influence in the district SP office. I complained the same to SHRC which forwarded the matter for investigation. The woman police inspector who is supposed to investigate came knocking at my house gate after 9 PM. Is this the way police investigate a SHRC  petition by harassing the compainant. What are my legal options about  the incident.

Thanks

Sam

Ofcourse that is not the way to investigate but uptil now, you don't really have a valid ground to take the Inspector to court.

You can file a complaint in the Magistrate's court under S. 211 of IPC against your opponent if the case against you is fabricated as you are claiming.
