Good evening,

Section 12 (a) of the Hindu Marriage Act talks about impotence, and how if the relationship is not consummated, the marriage can be annulled. Impotence can be considered as mental cruelty to the partner. Husband impotency refers to the inability of husband to consummate a relationship of marriage. There are many reasons for impotence, so taking a test from a recognised and good medical college or hospital is one way. Performance anxiety is linked with impotence in many ways. You will have to consult a doctor, get a certificate of non impotence from the doctor to prove himself as Not impotent. Please consider visiting a doctor, getting a certificate.

Hope this helped

Regards,

Nandini
