a complaint lodge against me about adultery from my friends husband. Investigation officer threatened me to arrest based on evidence presented in complaint. Please advice what is investigation officer Role in this.Can he take me on remand or arrest without any warrant. thus he can effect the case at his end.....

Sir, Adultery is bailable offence, she the police officer is bound to give you bail the time he comes to arrest you .... Regards Kapil Chandna Adv 9899011450

since it is bailable offence, even if the police officer is refusing to grant bail, you may apply for bail at the time of remand before the magistrate itself.
