I want to buy property of my died grandfather. From my grandmother and father. can i legally buy it.

I am a hindu male. my grandfather has died 9 years ago without making any bill of his property. all property was earn by my grandfather. there is no earning of my father. he is is only child of my grandfather. my grandmother and my father want to sell the property. we are two brothers. can I buy property. but my brother opposing it.

can no ni byI buy the property legally from my grand mother and father. property was exclusively belongs to my grandfather who has died.
my brother has any legal right to oppose the procedure.

I want to take home loan after buying it. please guide me.

First of all if the property is ancestral so u can buy it legally but your brother will have some rights also. but if the property is fully belongs to your gransfather and he earned it from his own and your gandmother is still alive so u can buy it without any objection legally and your brother dont have any right over it.

Hi, as the Grandfather is dead without 'will'..the property will be divided between his wife (grandmother)and father... u hv to buy from them..

Also all property cannot be brought as ur brother n other siblings hv rights from ur father as he has inherited this property... u need to consult a Civil Law Practitioner to workout how much u can buy
