Hai
Wat type of suit is filed? eg. summary suit, or ?
Ask ur lawyer frankly, why he is not allowing those documents to be marked. Your counsel might have his own ideas, so please do not use the word that your lawyer is cheating.
If u feel strongly that your counsel is cheating you, please change the lawyer or ask him frankly b coz. we(Lawyers) are here to help u.

Dear kannan
Mr. Maran is right
if you think then change you lawyer or ask him frankly

Fundamentally, we lawyers do not cheat or lie to clients. Sometimes such a situation like the one Kanan is talking about arises where clients do not impart all the necessary information needed by the lawyer to win the case. They [clients], for instance bring in information bit by bit and this has a serious impact on how fast a case can be handled by the judges in court. So I would advise Kanan to recheck how they have been dealing with his lawyer and probably change lawyer if he can prove that he has been genuine in all his deallings with this particular lawyer.

I agree with Mr Deng openion

If he is cheating, why are your expecting from him to mark the documents?

I do not understand what this means: "they are not providing us to produce the document which is favourable for us what to do ? how to submit (mark) that document at court"
Even before this is answered, let it be common knowledge that if a lawyer has violated a specific law and is against ethics, then it is cheating. It is a case of "Fence grazing the grass".
In such a case, as Dhingra ji has suggested, one can file a complainant with the Bar Council under Section 35 of The Advocates Act, 1961. But, it should be remembered that one should not aim at causing discomfiture mearly for sake of it. If it is real injustice, yes, then it has to be filled. If the doctor is not doing his duty, you would die. If some doctor gives you more diseases because you are not his customer, then it is crime. This sort of crime alone will be handled at societal level. If he is at the level of 'not doing his duty', you need to think many times before filing this sort of a complainant that, if proven can cause termination for that lawyer. Nevertheless, you are the better judge. The God in you needs to act. Law is law. Law is applicable to you, to that lawyer also. If he has done injustice, go ahead.

In fact, lawyers' profession is supposed to be a noble profession. Lawyers are law officers on oath all the while. They are governed by what is called 'Professional Standards and Etiquettes'. You should get familiar with these. Lawyers owe their very existence to court, law. Court comprises of 4 components and not two: Party-a, Party-b, Court (judges, lawyers, court officer, marshal, daftry, clerk, registry, peon, dispatch etc); Law
Today, specially in Indian context, more emphasis gets placed on components 1 and 2. Thus, components 3 and 4 has remained grey area. It is for this reason that one gets cheated.
Any lawyer (party-a or b or amicus curie etc) is bound by fundamental rules recorded above. All of them have responsibility to the court (judges, law, registry, court as an organisation), to the client, to the opposition, to fellow advocates.
Since you are client, your lawyer has more responsibility to you. You should get familiar with these Professional standards of a lawyer. If you go through this exercise, I am sure your thought process itself will get a boost and you can afford a fresh look at your case and your lawyer. I think you will be in a better position to decide after this.
