A lawyer tries to implicate a person who has come to Inida to visit his Relatives/ parents by foisting criminal case against him,so that he cannot leave the country(potentially endangering the job abroad).What are the measures that should be taken to stop the Unethical lawyer from foisting cases on Innocent and unsuspecting Individual.

If you have proof that the lawyer is indulging in such activities with malafide intentions, you may on an application to the concerned Bar council along with the available proof lodge a complaint against the erring lawyer and also lodge a similar complaint with the police preferably the top police officer of the district/city.
