Inam land

Sir,

We have recently found a document in our house which states that our ancestors were given inam land.

The document reads that its a "TITLE DEED "and is given for their service around 130 years ago. (1880 march)

This title deed was given by British govt. (Inam commission) and it contains a Govt.seal.  The document specifies the land's geographical location.  But its does not contain the survey nos. etc.

Is this document a valid one? Can this land be claimed? If so kindly suggest the procedure.
