Hi,
My daughter is 4 months old. The hospital passed on my name incorrectly to the local muncipal body. The local muncipal office gave a birth certificate with my name mentioned with my wife's caste on it.
We approached the local muncipal office to get it changed to read my name as on the passport. They refuse to do so citing there will be no issues with the certificate and that we can always change it while applying for admission in the school. Is this correct? If not, please advise the best way to tackle this.
