My father passed in jan'08 without leaving a will. Left behind are his wife and 3 daughters who are legal heirs to this property located in mumbai.
Now we made a release deed which mentions 2 sisters have released their rights to my mother making her share to 75% and I have retained my share of 25% so that I can represent my family for all societies meetings.
In the release deed the index 2 mentions my mother and my 2 sisters name as they being the transferee and transferer respectively. Do I have to make a new index 2 which mentions my name too for future incase of sale of property???
We are Hindus.
