My mother born in Burma but living in Surat for last 54 years. Her school leaving certificate shows her born in Burma. She has ration card, voter id card, pan card etc. But for issuing passport, authorities are asking for Indian Citizenship Certificate.
I and my brother are an Indian citizen and have passports. My father died last year.
We do not have any document of her of Burma.
Can anyone suggest how to get Indian citizenship certificate or how will I apply freshly for her passport?
