Inflated list of dowry articles at caw ?

1. Ask for Bills. Press for it if you can. If they are not producing them make sure police writes the reason why they are not producing the same.

2 If such bills are produced you can go about in 2 ways:

a. RTI in Income Tax / Sales Dept. of your area asking details on such bills.

b. Ask as to from where did they get the money to purchase such items and where is the paper trail of them withdrawing such an amount for such a purpose.

3. Even if CAW doesn't ask for these items, make sure that you in your reply ask them to produce such bills/evidence.

Sir, if they say, they already have cash, or cash given by relatives for the marriage etc means no documentary evidences but relatives witnesses are there is this will work ? and they had give a huge amount as a expense on marriage which is just 5 times of the actual, and in that area (locality) rent of halls and banquets are very reasonable or much lesser than they wrote in the list. Majorly they have a verbal evidences and witnesses of relatives...is there closed relative false witness work in court ?
