Information required on filing writ petition

Dear All

I am filing a Writ Petition as Petitioner in Person and need some information. I am filing the documents as follows:

1. Covering Page (Numbered 1-2)

2. Synopsis & List of Dates (Numbered 1-7)

3. Writ Petition (Numbered 1-15)

4. Index giving details as mentioned above.

In the Writ Petition I have quoted some judgements and rules. Also In the Index I have given annexures like Hall Ticket Number, Marks Memo etc.

I want to know the following:

1. How do I submit the Judgement as mentioned in the Writ Petition? Or will the Court Registry attach the Judgement based on what I have quoted? How is this aspect handled here? I have mentioned the Judgement in the annexures, but not sure about this.

2. How is the rules/acts as I mentioned in the Petition needs to be attached or if the same is not required?

3. How do I attach the documents as mentioned in the Writ Petition? I need to submit my Hall Ticket, Memo Marks etc? Do I need to attach a certified copy of these or only a photocopy will be enough? How is this aspect to be handled?

4. Is the page numbering sequence correct?

Please help me on this.

Thanks & Regards

Rahman

The rules and orders of every High Court are different. You need to read them before filing a writ.
