I had applied for a counselling session at the womens cell myself, as my wife was threatening me with false cases and harrasment, the counselling eventually failed, and during the final statements taken by the police, i mentioned in my statement that i dont want to stay together with my wife and i will be approaching the court for a divorce. to which my mother in law decided to take her daughter back to her own house. here she informed the local police station in writing that i am taking away my daughter with me as her husband is not willing to stay with her. i wanted to know if this letter or information to the police will be of any disadvantage to me if i file for a divorce in court
