Inheritance of my grandfathers self aquired property

Can I claim share in my grandfathers property which now is in the name of my father ? I am the only son and even my father is only son to my grandfather. If my father sells off the property, can I legally put a stay on the sale?

Yes u can file suit for partition.u have any sisters they r also entitled for share .so think about it also
