My colleague's sister had met with an accident in the year 1997. She and her family were travelling in the public jeep, and was hit by the another same public jeep. During this accident, she had a major elbow injury. Later on her family had registered the Police complaint in Halol, Gujarat. Now almost after 14 years, court had given the judgement in the favour my colleague's sister. Now my question here arises; Does the insurance claim amount will be received in the form of cheque or Fixed Deposit???????????(She and her whole family is educated).
Kindly provide me by a correct solution.
