Interim and final order

Interim order has been passed by the court against the accused in a matrimonial case. Now the opposite party came up with a judgement (Prem Chand Agarwal & ors Vs. Uttar Pradesh Corporation & ors Civil Appeal No. 2769 of 2009) stating that all interim order shall be merged with the final order. We are from the side of petitioner.

My questions are:-

1. whether after merging interim order with the final order the amount pending in the interim order will also cease?

2. Is the above mentioned judgement can be applied in this case as these two cases are very much different?

3. Is there any other judgement available to counter the mentioned judgement?

Plz reply I need answer to these question ASAP.

Thanks
