I need some information on 'Inventory Proceedings' process. I am not sure if the 'Inventory proceeding law' is only applicable to the state of Goa.
My parents (now expired) had a property. Me and my sister want a share of the property. As per law, the division is 50-50 but I would like to make it 60-40. (60 for her and 40 for me). Can I proceed with the 'inventory process' and do the same. I heard the court will give the final order and the final order of the inventory proceeding will be like - X property is now divided for 2 parties (Me and my sister). Y (me) get 40% of the land property and Z (sister) gets 60% of the land property. And later with the final order of the inventory proceedings we can proceed with the property partition.
Let me know if this is possible.
