A cousin of the deceased (wife of a friend who were married for 25 years committed suicide) has filed an FIR under 306. This cousin never been in touch with the deceased while living but now sees this as an opportunity to harass the friend and his family with a view to obtaining their land through false accusations. God bless her soul but was erratic and short tempered. The judge granted an anticipatory bail which runs out in a few weeks. The IO has not completed the statement of the friend.
