Is 498a applicable to live-in-relationship couples too

Respected learned members,

      got a peculiar case here. A lady filed 498a on a Man with whom she claiming to be lived together in a liveinrelationship (though she is saying she married him but there is nikhanama and due to this crpc 125 already dismissed). And now 498a case is running. Is there any judgment to combat this situation?
