Is adjudication of poa necessary

I reside in Vasai, Maharashtra.

I have received a POA from my brother-in-law and his mother who reside in Canada.

They have shares in a co-operative housing society which is now disbursing money for the shares.

As they reside in Canada, the housing society is deducting capital gains tax. The cheques will be made out in my brother-in law's and his mothers name. I will only be receiving the cheques on their behalf and passing it onto them.

1. Does the POA have to be adjudicated by me or is notarization sufficient?

2. If adjudication is necessary where is it done and what is the cost?

Advice in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

1. Does the POA have to be adjudicated by me or is notarization sufficient? Adjudication is mandetory.

2. If adjudication is necessary where is it done and what is the cost? At sub-registrars office of the area where the property is situeted.   .POA  without autharity of sale require RS100 stamp and registration charges.
