Is it compulsory to probate a will

Hello Sir,

There is a Will with some corrections and signed across appropriately by the testator. There are five immovables items in it. Item 1 is executed during lifetime.  There is no executor in the Will.

Q1. Is this Will valid for the remaining 4 items?

Q2. The Will is still valid since there are corrections?

Q3. Is it compulsory to PROBATE a Will?

Many thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Laxmin
