Is it legally valid to refuse time-barred summons

On 20.02.2019, police came to my office with multiple summons all pertains to maintenance execution case u/s 125(3) crpc but different dates fixed seeking my appearance viz., 11.07.18, 15.09.18 and 15.12.2018 (all are clearly lapsed/time-barred) that too without any copy of petition, when I pointed out this flaw, police angrily taken pics of me and my office and then gone away.

Now my query is, refusing to take 2 to 6 months time-barred summons is legally right or wrong? I have case case laws (Supreme court, Nahar enterprise vs Hyderabad Alwyn Ltd) and order numbers & rule numbers (order 5 rule 2 order 9 rule 6(1) for CPC whereas for CrPC, other than 65CrPC, I am unable to find any material in my favour, so inputs of any relevant citations and sections pertaining to my issue in criminal cases are being sought from brotherens and veterans herewith.
