Is it possible to merge two cases in different courts?

Hi,

My wife has filed 498A case in city sessions court first, then for maintenance in a family court. The allegations are same in both the cases. I mean same story/narration repeated in 498A-case's FIR and maintenance case.

Can anyone please suggest me, is there any possibility to conver these two cases as a single case and in a single court?

Regards,

Maddy

Different court cases can not be merged. At the most you can ask for same date in both courts , that too if your lawyers are different and you manage to travel between the courts.

you can ask for both the cases to club in one case as one is criminal case and another is family court case

even if you ask for both on same day you can run out for both cases on one day as some times in family court when the case come you can say
